Our public petition invites broad participation from everyone who recognizes that Morgellons disease deserves responsible scientific review, fair institutional treatment, and proper public health accountability.
By signing, you add your name to a formal request calling on the Government of Canada to review the current scientific evidence, reopen the federal public health investigation, and ensure that patients are no longer dismissed without proper examination.

CONDENSED VERSION
Dear Minister Marjorie Michel,
This petition arises in response to prolonged federal inaction regarding Morgellons disease and the emergence of substantial peer-reviewed scientific evidence requiring formal review.
In 2009, the Office of the Federal Minister of Health acknowledged Morgellons disease and stated that available information was “extremely limited at this time.” Since then, the scientific record has materially changed.
Peer-reviewed research has identified case criteria and laboratory findings associated with Morgellons disease, including skin filaments composed of human structural proteins such as keratin and collagen. This evidence directly contradicts the continued dismissal of Morgellons patients as merely delusional without proper investigation of their physical symptoms and submitted specimens.
We, the undersigned, respectfully call upon the Government of Canada to:
Morgellons patients deserve to be examined, heard, and treated with dignity, respect, and proper care.
Signed,
The Canadian public and the International Community
